Hole 17: Avant-Garden

“Avant-Garden” is inspired by the sights and sounds of the gardens. The things we encounter while walking through the gardens are translated into texts, which in turn are pasted onto sculptural letters that spell out “LOWER GARDENS” – an acrostic poem as each description starts from the letter it is pasted on.
